Ms. Krischak
akrischak@messiahchristianschool.org Pandemic Support Teacher Hi, my name is Allison Krischak and this will be my sixth year at Messiah Christian School. I graduated from Ohio Christian University in 2009, with a BA in Worship Arts Ministries. While in college, I was an assistant teacher at Crossroads Christian Academy and taught K-2nd grade music my senior year. I was the a Program Coordinator for Pre-K and Kindergarten campers at Camp Sonshine in Silver Spring, Maryland and also wrote their summer music curriculum. I've worked with the Kids Choir at The Church Next Door in Hilliard and serve as a leader on the worship team. I also work for Homewatch Caregivers, taking care of children with developmental disabilities over the summer and some weekends. I created and ran a music group called Friends in Rhythm at Wild Goose Creative, which integrated typical children and children with developmental disabilities. Through a series of music activities, I was able to help them build communication and leadership skills, as well as form friendships. I started classes and would like to pursue a career in music therapy somewhere down the road but right now I'm enjoying working with the children at Messiah. I'm excited for the new year, meeting new little faces and serving in the ministry.
