Allison Carroll

Education- I am a graduate of Ohio Christian University, where I received my BA in Worship Arts Ministries. I also currently hold a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential.

Experience - This will be my 12th year at Messiah Christian School. I have taught music, preschool, pre-k, kindergarten and extended care. This is my first year as the director. I was also an assistant teacher at Crossroads Christian Academy for two years and taught music to the Kindergarten-2nd graders. I was a Program Coordinator for the Pre-K and Kindergarten campers at Camp Sonshine, a day camp in Silver Spring, Maryland. I also led a children's choir for a few years at Messiah and The Church Next Door in Hilliard.

Family- I recently married my husband, Jonathan, in March 2021 and gained two bonus children. Alexis is 16 and Carson is 8. We have a turtle named Sunny and an Old English Sheepdog named Max.

Hobbies and Interests- I love music! I sing and play the ukulele, piano and guitar. I like art, concerts, spending time with my family and traveling. My favorite colors are purple and green.  I love flowers, sunsets, stars, and working with children.
